On our way to Bourges, we stopped to take some pictures at Sincerre Vins
Our hotel was adorable. The breakfast room, shown on either side, was gorgeous. We found ourselves yet again wishing that we had more than one night here. Of course, we have been wishing for more time at every location.
Eric was so excited when we stumbled along the remains of a Roman wall
Eric and I enjoyed exploring the streets of this quaint town filled with half-timbered houses.
Dinner overlooking Eglise Notre-Dame
In the morning we went to the farmers market to buy food for our picnic lunch. My French skills did not serve me well here. We ended up using the pointing, smiling, and nodding technique to buy our lunch. Eventually we ended up with some bread, cheese, tomato, and wine for a picnic in the gardens of Cathedrale Saint-Etienne de Bourges.
